aww wanted to TRY to critique this, but i'm not a member D:
I really like this. The color choice is great! The green space gives it a great calming feel. The starkness of the whole piece is great, yet I feel like I need a little more. I want my eye to travel around the piece but I just bob to the face to the earth and back and I stop. I don't know what to say bout this but all the negative space bothers me, and I love negative space. I can't see you really needing to add anything to this, but for w/e reason I want there to be something more to look at. I think that's it, just the two subjects and there is no real eye movement, and I just get stuck with everything being 'ip pop' random like the stars (as if the earth and tom was a star as well).

I really do like this though, its a simple fun piece. The details on the space suit are superb. I love the face on Tom and with the quote for the piece, it all comes together great. I always imagined anyone being in space having a smile, but you really carry over that message in this. He looks very disappointed. The 'aura' coming from the earth is spectacular and the shape of earth not being a perfect circle is AWESOME.

The only thing I can think of to help with eye movement is maybe an air tube, but again, I don't really see it necessary. Sorry if I wasn't too helpful or specific, I thought you'd appreciate how my eye moved across it and all that. lol i feel like a nobody telling a somebody what to do on their piece when its already something I admire and want to aspire to. I've been an art student for years so maybe that gives me some credit? lol great job!
